Our Local Hero Programme is designed for youth aged 14-17 years old, who are passionate about football and aspire to develop their leadership and life skills.  Over a 6 week course participants will meet one evening per week, combining an hour of football coaching with an hour of leadership and life-skills mentoring.

This unique programme which has been developed in partnership with the Sir Stanley Matthews Foundation offers young people the opportunity to improve their technical skills whilst also building essential qualities like teamwork, communication and personal responsibility.  Whether you're aiming to become a football coach or simply want to grow as a leader on and off the pitch, the Local Hero Programme equips you with the tools you need to succeed.
